About The White House Brand: Founded in 1906 selling Linens and Towels. In the 1920's 'The White House' did a collaboration with a French design house (Maison L Giraud) who made the garments and then exported to their 51-52 New Bond Street Retail Shop in London. They carried lace underskirts, satin gowns, $1,700 on a nightdresses, negligee at No. 51, handkerchiefs & monogrammed menswear for men and women made of Irish Lace. They designed thousands of garments a year including the Royal children, including Prince William.
